Priced on subscribers, not on your success

You can work out next month’s bill yourself, from a number you already know. No revenue share, no per-router charge, no surprise line items.

Your subscribers are never cut off because of our invoice

When a NexaQuid invoice passes its due date, nothing happens to your network. Your subscribers stay connected, your billing keeps running, your portal stays up. We will email you, and we will give you room to clear it. A platform that disconnected an ISP's paying customers over its own bill would be doing the one thing an ISP can never explain to them — and we are not building that.

Pricing

Per active subscriber. Nothing else metered.

One number decides your bill, and it is a number you already know. Routers, staff accounts, tickets, invoices and API calls are never counted.

What counts as an active subscriber

A subscriber with at least one service that was active or within its grace period during the month. Lines suspended for non-payment still count; terminated ones do not, and neither do hotspot walk-ins, vouchers or devices — a phone that bought an hour is not a subscriber.

What is never metered

MikroTik routers, staff accounts, tickets, invoices, message templates, API calls and storage. Add a fourth router or a sixth NOC agent and your bill does not move. You pay your own SMS and M-Pesa providers directly, at their rates, through your own accounts.

Why not a share of your revenue

Because it would make our invoice rise every time you raise your prices, and it would require us to see your books. Per-subscriber pricing is forecastable: you can work out next month's bill yourself, from a number you already know.

Why not per MikroTik

Because a router is not a measure of anything. One MikroTik might carry 60 subscribers or 6,000. Charging per device would bill a small ISP with several small sites more than a large one with three big routers.

Getting started

Set it up yourself. Really.

Migration, setup and integrations are built to be done by the person who runs the ISP, in an afternoon, without a consultant.

  1. 1

    Import your subscribers

A CSV of names, account numbers, packages and addresses. The importer tells you which rows it could not read, and why, before anything is written.

  2. 2

Paste one script into your MikroTik

NexaQuid generates the RouterOS configuration for your RADIUS client, hotspot, DHCP and walled gardens. It arrives in short blocks so an error is still on screen when it happens, and the last block prints back what the others built.

  3. 3

    Connect your paybill

Your Daraja consumer key and secret, your shortcode, and a callback URL we give you. A credential test proves it before you rely on it.

  4. 4

    Switch your messages on

Every template ships disabled, and in your own words when you want to change them. Turn on the ones you want, when you want them.

Or let us do it with you

Our support team will run the migration, configure your routers and sit with your desk while the first invoices go out. It is a small one-off fee rather than a percentage of anything, quoted before we start — and genuinely optional, because every step above is documented and self-serve.

Pricing FAQ

What ISPs ask about the bill

The awkward questions, answered before you have to ask them.

How much does NexaQuid cost?

Pricing is per active subscriber per month, in bands. Up to 100 subscribers is a flat KES 3,500 per month. From 101 to 500 subscribers it is KES 32 per active subscriber, from 501 to 2,000 it is KES 26, and from 2,001 to 10,000 it is KES 20. Above 10,000 subscribers is quoted individually. MikroTik routers, staff accounts and tickets are never metered.

What happens if I pay my NexaQuid invoice late?

Nothing happens to your network. Your subscribers stay connected, billing keeps running and your portal stays up. We email you and give you time to clear the balance. NexaQuid does not disconnect an ISP's paying customers over its own invoice.

Can I set NexaQuid up myself, or do I need a consultant?

You can set it up yourself. Import your subscribers from a CSV, paste one generated script into your MikroTik, connect your paybill, and switch on the message templates you want. Every step is documented and self-serve. Our support team will do the migration with you for a small one-off fee if you would rather not.

How long does migration take?

Most ISPs between 50 and 2,000 subscribers are live on billing, payments and RADIUS within a few days, and many in an afternoon. The longest step is usually agreeing your account-number format and package list, because those are decisions rather than data entry.
